Despite these challenges, Owen demonstrated extraordinary resilience, completing a sprint triathlon just three months after his initial surgery to remove his colon, showcasing the determination that fuels Stryde. He channeled his experiences into creating a product that addresses the limitations he faced firsthand. From completing endurance events including marathons and ultra-marathons with an ileostomy bag to embracing an active lifestyle, Owen’s journey inspires Stryde’s commitment to innovation and inclusivity.
